At World Gym Quebec, we are looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the management of the front desk and the kids clubs. You will be responsible for leading the team of membership sales representatives, managing KPI’s also ensure that the gym runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in the daily operations of the gym, in partcular, the front desk
- Recruit, hire, supervise and train front desk staff
- Implement strategies to close new members and retain current members
- Monitor daily, weekly performance and adjust as needed.
- Handle member inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure excellence in service quality
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in the fitness industry
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and gym management software
