District Manager

World Gym Quebec is looking for an experienced and dynamic District Manager to oversee the operations of multiple clubs in our Montreal & North Shore district. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with proven experience managing multiple locations and a team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of multiple fitness clubs within the district, ensuring each location runs efficiently and meets company standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between regional branches and company headquarters.
  • Recruit, train, integrate, and coach managers, assessing their performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • Guide managers in the effective use of systems and procedures (Development/Operations/Human Resources, etc.).
  • Ensure the implementation and compliance of marketing initiatives and branding across each center.
  • Manage and ensure attainment of regional goals such as personal training sales, membership volume, retention, and other KPIs.
  • Manage a regional budget, ensuring that each location operates within the allocated budget.
  • Identify revenue opportunities for business growth (corporate deals, partnerships with schools, community outreach, etc.).
  • Ensure that all business operations are conducted in accordance with company standards and address any operational problems.
  • Maintain strong business integrity and personal integrity.
  • Regular communication with the Director of Sales and senior management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a management role.
  • Quantitative aptitude and experience managing sales goals, budgets, and operations.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skill.

Additional Spectifications:

  • Regular visits to each location (minimum of 1x per 2 weeks).
  • Weekly meetings at head office to communicate urgencies and set up the priorities of the week.
  • Possibility to assume a club manager role temporarily in case of vacancy.
  • Ability to handle disciplinary actions for general managers when required.
  • Flexibility to meet any additional requests from senior directors/owners from Headquarters.
